Just outside the busy centre of Utrecht is Nijenoord. The building used to be the Hogeschool Utrecht, but has now been transformed into a fantastic residential building. Nijenoord has a prominent entrance that you reach via several steps. You can tell from this that it was once a school. In the hall is a lift that takes you to your floor. Handy, as the building is up to 10 floors high. Very nice by the way if you live high up, look out over Utrecht.
The flats differ in layout and size. There are flats from 46 to as much as 152 m². You always have a nice balcony and can count on a complete kitchen and modern bathroom. The kitchen is complete with built-in Siemens appliances. House number 239 is a basement flat with an outdoor terrace at the front of the complex.
