Surroundings
Vleuterweide is the new residential area on the west side of Leidsche Rijn. With its varied set-up, Vleuterweide is a new residential area that is different. Cosy, distinctive, almost intimate. Especially subarea 'De Hoven', where 51 single-family houses have been built. Here you can really live in the Dutch way, in an area surrounded by meadows!

Via the neighbourhood's arterial roads, the country's motorway network is at your feet. Every direction is quickly accessible. The A2 motorway takes you to Amsterdam and Den Bosch, the A12 takes you to The Hague, Rotterdam and Arnhem, the A27 goes to Almere and Breda, and cities such as Amersfoort, Zwolle and Groningen are close by thanks to the A28.
When not travelling by car, you can use the fantastic network of public transport that surrounds Utrecht. Leidsche Rijn has its own NS station.

In addition, the village centres of Vleuten and De Meern are easily accessible.

The nice thing about Leidsche Rijn is that it does not look like an average expansion district. It is an alternation of smaller neighbourhoods. On the western side of Leidsche Rijn is Vleuterweide. It is a neighbourhood that took its inspiration from the Dutch villages of yesteryear. A new housing estate, but undeniably authentic and intimate. Vleuterweide also has its own village centre. There are shops, schools, sports facilities and a library.

'De Hoven' is a subarea with a village feel. Winding streets, architecture with a historical wink.
