Waterdonken West, the best of both worlds!

Breda is a compound of 'Brede' and 'Aa', meaning the 'wide water'. Indeed, this is where the Aa widened at the point where the river flowed into the Mark. Breda is also an Orange City because of its historical connection with the House of Nassau.
