On the edge of Zwolle's old city centre, MVGM Wonen rents out loft flats in a very convenient location. We rent out 21 units in the water tower. These loft flats are on the first floor to the eleventh floor. There are eight different types. Ranging in living space from 51m2 to 75m2. The water tower on the Turfmarkt in Zwolle was built in 1892. The water tower has a height of 36 metres and had a water reservoir of 500 m3. The new design is based on the history of the tower, which is actually two towers in one. The original 1892 monumental tower was stripped of its upper masonry due to dilapidation in the 1950s, leaving only a stub with a water tank on top. Around it, the shell was bricked of the water tower as we know it today, including the green copper cap. The new tower follows the contours of both historic water towers, so the history remains readable.
