Description

Sneek is a town in the province of Súdwest-Fryslân, located northwest of Joure and Heerenveen, southwest of Leeuwarden. Sneek is near the Sneekermeer lake and the Prinses Margriet Canal, and is known for its historic city centre, including the Waterpoort. The town fulfils a central function for the Zuidwesthoek region.
