Koer te Rotterdam

Rotterdam

Description

"Living in the heart of Rotterdam. Kop van Zuid within walking distance, the city centre and De Kuip accessible by bike and public transport. The greenery of Parkzicht as your backyard, the luxury of a shared courtyard. In your new flat in an authentic part of the city. That piece of city is called Parkstad. Here, bordering the Laan op Zuid, KOER is rising. A - in good Rotterdam fashion - chilly new construction plan of three blocks, with 89 rental flats and a courtyard garden. From a cleverly designed one-bedroom studio to flats and maisonettes with two, three and four rooms. Just what you need. And don't worry about energy consumption: KOER does it economically, with a connection to district heating.

KOER is not 1 big building, KOER is divided into small, clear blocks. Each block has a different structure. Each block also looks slightly different. Feel free to call it a Rotterdam project. Tough, but also stylish. With its striking location right on Laan op Zuid, KOER is an eye-catcher. On the map of Rotterdam, you'll find Katadreuffestraat and Stroomkoningstraat on the other side. Many new buildings here are under construction or already realised, such as the neighbours of the Overmaas project.

Two, three or four rooms. Street level or uptown.
Part of KOER is reserved for owner-occupied flats. The other 89 homes are rental flats. These are designed to suit the needs of different tenants: you have homes with two, three or four rooms, you choose from studios, flats and two-storey houses. And then it's up to you how you want to live. Each block differs again in height. Prefer the first floor, so you feel you still have contact with the street? Or seven- or eight-high, with increasing views of the surrounding area? Sight seeing is possible from inside, but also from your balcony.

KOER is a garden lover. And bike fan.
Wherever you live: everywhere you look out onto greenery. Your own green, the green of the playfully designed courtyard garden. You share it with all the KOER residents, for a chat, a beer or a picnic. At the bottom of KOER, there is space for a childcare centre. There is a bicycle shed, for you and all other residents together. Space is also reserved for autosis. Limited, though, because you live in the middle of town and hardly need it. And if not, make it easy: by using the mobility assistance. Your practical shared car or smart electric shared bike is in pole position in KOER.

Parkstad, pleasant. It is a new residential neighbourhood in a place with Rotterdam roots. The Kop van Zuid on one side, new housing estates Tweebosbuurt and Feyenoord on the other. Parkstad then becomes just a neighbourhood with housing. Schools will find accommodation there. You can tick off your shopping list around the corner, in the Vuurplaat shopping centre. Sports can be enjoyed indoors in the new sports hall in Huis op Zuid or outdoors in Rijnhavenpark. Rotterdam City Council is even considering a swimming pool here. Plenty to do in and around Parkstad. De Kuip is a few throw-ins away, as is the Pathe cinema. Even shorter is the distance to hotspots like Kop van Zuid, Katendrecht and the SS Rotterdam. And Wednesdays and Saturdays welcome you to the colourful Afrikaanderplein market.

How short a time has it been since Coolsingel was the centre of Rotterdam? And now look at the map: with all the city's renovations, the centre has moved to the banks of the river Maas. Enough has already been written about the many developments on the Kop van Zuid. Katendrecht followed, with a facelift into a city district that mixes old with new. Meanwhile, the Rijnhaven is also born to be wild. And following on from the Erasmus Bridge, other old city districts are getting a welcome upgrade: a total of thousands of new homes are being added. Like in Parkstad, where you'll find KOER. So you can say you live in the new heart of the city. With all conveniences at hand.

KOER is located between Laan op Zuid and Hilledijk. Perfectly accessible by public transport, as there are tram stops at 2 and 5 minutes' walking distance. Prefer the metro? Twelve minutes of footwork. It is also the location where the S106 passes. So it will soon be very easy to get to the north side of Rotterdam by car. And you'll be out of the city before you know it, towards the A16. If you want to get out of the city at all, of course."
