In this building, the aim is to carefully select the group of residents, focusing on people aged 65 and over, with or without current or future care needs. The aim is to create a social, safe and future-proof living environment.

To achieve this aim, a targeted selection procedure is used when allocating lifetime-adapted homes. A list of prospective tenants is maintained. This list does not operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Instead, careful consideration is given to the balance between current residents without care needs and residents with current or anticipated care needs. On this basis, an assessment is made as to which target group is to be given priority during a particular period, for example: residents aged between 65 and 85, or residents requiring assistance or support.
