Residents can rent a parking space in an underground car park, accessible by lift.

Java Island is part of the Eastern Docklands, which also comprises Borneo, KNSM Island, Sporenburg and the Rietlanden. The renowned architect Sjoerd Soeters created the urban design for Java Island. Its central location is ideal. The Brazilië shopping centre is situated on the Oostelijke Handelskade, a six-minute cycle ride away. The centre of Amsterdam and Central Station can be reached within five minutes by bike, tram 10 or bus 48. The A10 ring road is easily accessible via the Piet Hein Tunnel.
