Everything in the neighbourhood
The Borneo peninsula is part of the Eastern Docklands, which also comprises Java Island, KNSM Island, Sporenburg and the Rietlanden. The Eastern Docklands is a popular residential area with striking architecture. Borneo is a genuine residential neighbourhood consisting mainly of low-rise buildings. This creates an intimate, urban atmosphere. The Brazilië shopping centre is located on the Oostelijke Handelskade, a ten-minute walk away. Here you’ll find supermarkets, banks, a dry cleaner’s, a hairdresser, a baker, a butcher and all sorts of other shops. Primary schools, nurseries and a medical centre are also within a short cycling distance. Borneo’s central location is ideal. Amsterdam city centre and Central Station can be reached within minutes by bike or public transport. The A10 ring road is easily accessible via the Piet Hein Tunnel.
