For rent from 1 June: MIDDLE RENT 2-room flat

Please note: special income requirements! There is a minimum and maximum income standard to qualify.

All properties in Paddington are mid-rent properties. Middle rent is for those who earn too much for social rent, but too little for free sector rent or purchase. Affordability is an important factor in mid-rent homes. That is why there are long-term rent agreements between the landlord and the municipality of Amsterdam.

Income guidelines:
- Minimum Gross annual income at least 42 times the net monthly rent. In case of two incomes, the second income counts for 100%.
- Maximum 72,938,=
- Pensioners:
Sum of AOW and net pension at least 3 times the monthly rent. Possibly supplemented with sufficient equity to be able to make up the shortfall in the income guideline in the long term.
Self-employed, self-employed or DGA:
- a net profit before tax demonstrably at the above income guideline;
- you are in business for at least 2 full financial years.
Guarantee: not possible.

Who can rent a flat in Paddington?
You can rent an apartment if you are going to live in it yourself and, after moving in, register at the rented address in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) of the municipality of Amsterdam. Another important condition is that you have sufficient income to pay the rent, now and in the future. Income guidelines apply for this. It is also necessary that you do not have a negative BKR registration. Part of the rental procedure we carry out is a BKR Credit Check and/or Sanction Test.
Car parking in Paddington?
Paddington has an underground car park with 41 parking spaces. These parking spaces can be rented separately for residential tenants. There will be a total of 16 parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars.
Where can I park my bicycle?
There is a large basement under the building. This offers space for 499 bicycles and 4 cargo bikes.
