B'mine is situated in Overhoeks. On the south bank of the IJ, next to the A'dam Tower, the Eye Film Museum and many other hotspots, such as the Tolhuistuin, Café de Pont and A-Lab. The transformation of Shell’s ‘raw’ industrial site has resulted in stunning residential developments and an enrichment of Amsterdam’s cultural and culinary scene.

Attractive in Noord
Those living in B’mine can literally go in two directions. In the old Noord district, ‘hip and new’ has found a home. On Van der Pekstraat, you’ll find various lovely shops and Smaaqt. Proeverij Landmarkt on Schellingwouderdijk is also highly recommended. Treat yourself to a freshly prepared meal or be tempted by the organic produce specially sourced from small-scale artisan growers and farmers – fair trade and locally sourced.

The city at your feet
Although Noord itself has plenty to offer, it’s also nice to know that you’re just a stone’s throw from the heart of Amsterdam. Take the ferry and you’ll be at Central Station in no time, or walk through the station and you’ll find yourself instantly in a whole different world. A city that’s alive 24/7 and never gets boring. There’s always a great exhibition, a fun event, a special performance, a concert or a surprising market. Residents of B’mine can enjoy these whenever they like. And afterwards, it’s back home, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind you.
