- Income requirement -
To rent a property, you can use the following income requirements as a guide:

* For a single income
• Your gross annual income must be 45 times the basic monthly rent, where the rent exceeds €1,600. In practical terms, this calculation applies if your gross annual income is €72,000 or higher.

* For two incomes
• With two incomes, the gross annual incomes of both partners are added together to determine the joint calculated income. The application is then assessed based on the ratio between the two partners’ incomes within this joint calculated income.
• You may count both incomes at 100%, provided that one of you earns at least 70% of your total joint calculated income. The ratio is then 70/30 or higher (for example, 80/20).
