Surroundings
Right in the city, near the beach and close to the station. If you live here, you’ll have an impressive view of the rest of Amsterdam. You can cycle to the city centre in a quarter of an hour, or walk to Sloterdijk Station and take the bus or train – you’ll get there just as quickly. Fancy a break? Zandvoort beach is just half an hour away by car or train. What’s more, Westerpark is right on your doorstep and there are plenty of sports facilities in the neighbourhood.

The complex
With its three roof gardens, Floating Gardens forms a green link between nature and the city. Biodiverse, climate-adaptive and circular.
The award-winning design by Orange Architects will soon grace the entrance to Sloterdijk-Centrum. Uptown Sloterdijk: from what was once a concrete office district to a sought-after, green urban neighbourhood.

The complex features a communal living room, a roof garden, a cooking studio and a guest room. As a resident, you can book the cooking studio and guest room if you want to celebrate something and/or have your visitors stay overnight. The communal living room on the third, fourth and fifth floors and the roof garden on the fifth floor are accessible to all residents.

Accommodation
The white kitchens have a modern finish and are by Bruynzeel, featuring a quartzite worktop with a single stainless steel sink and fitted with ATAG built-in appliances: fridge-freezer, extractor hood, combination microwave, induction hob and dishwasher.
The bathroom is fully fitted and features a walk-in shower with a Novellini shower screen, a towel radiator and a washbasin with mirror. Some bathrooms also have a separate toilet.
At Floating Gardens, energy and comfort are managed intelligently. The homes are fitted with a heat recovery system (WTW), an advanced form of mechanical ventilation. For heating and hot water, you will need to take out a contract with Essent.
