Renting at Crossroads means enjoying your own brand-new flat in Amsterdam – and much more besides. That’s because a variety of nature-filled meeting places have been created in and around the building. Enjoy your first coffee of the day in the sunshine in the communal morning garden, or have a drink with some neighbours whilst watching the sun set from the evening garden. You’ll see greenery growing up the facades of various buildings. Finally, around the building you’ll find plenty of greenery, benches to sit on and beautiful light art to admire. Nature and the building, residents and passers-by all come together at Crossroads.

Accommodation on offer
The 239 rental flats are spread across 27 floors. There are studios, two- and three-bedroom flats and a number of four-bedroom flats. Whichever you choose, you’ll always have a lovely outdoor space that’s enclosed within the building, so you can enjoy privacy in a sheltered setting. There are no car parking spaces at Crossroads. However, there is a communal cycle shed within the building. This shed features high- and low-level racks and is accessible via the water garden.

That creates a sense of comfort
When it comes to technology, Crossroads is right up to date. The flats are fitted with a heat recovery system. This draws in fresh air from outside and circulates it through the living areas. Combined with the underfloor heating, this ensures you’ll feel very comfortable at home.

Everything is new and luxurious
The great thing about renting at Crossroads is that everything is new – including the kitchen and bathroom. You’ll soon be able to enjoy your kitchen with built-in appliances, including an induction hob. The kitchen layout (straight, corner or island) depends on the layout and size of the flat. The bathroom features a shower with a toughened glass screen, a washbasin with mirror and a towel radiator. Some flats have a double washbasin and/or a second toilet.

Crossroads – the name says it all. Here, you’ll be living at the crossroads of the city and the countryside, of the station and the residential area, of bustling Amsterdam and a peaceful home. A prime location that’s easily accessible by bike, public transport and car. It’s also a place where there’s plenty to do nearby, whether you’re interested in food, culture or leisure.

If you decide to rent at Crossroads, you’re guaranteed a great start. The kitchen is fully equipped with built-in appliances and the bathroom features high-quality fittings. Your flat also has underfloor heating.

Want to live close to work?
One of the major advantages of Crossroads is its accessibility. Thanks to its location near Sloterdijk Station, you can travel easily by public transport and reach Central Station in just 8 minutes. By car, take the N200 and the A10 to reach the Amsterdam ring road in 3 minutes. You can reach Schiphol in a quarter of an hour, Haarlem is just a 20-minute drive away, and you’ll be in Bloemendaal aan Zee in half an hour. And if you change jobs? After one year’s tenancy, the monthly rent is cancellable.

Energy-efficient and sustainable
Crossroads has been built in accordance with the latest standards and guidelines. This means your rental flat is highly sustainable and energy-efficient. You’ll also notice the difference in terms of comfort. The flats are heated using a thermal energy storage system, which includes (limited) cooling capacity. No draughts, a consistently pleasant indoor climate and cosy underfloor heating.

Valuable connections with fellow residents
Crossroads features an online platform where, as a new resident, you can communicate quickly and easily with both your neighbours and the property manager. For example, to share good ideas and items with one another, organise social activities to get to know each other better, and ask questions regarding the building’s maintenance. The aim? To enhance your enjoyment of living here! Crossroads residents are given access to an app, creating a secure online environment where you only communicate with vetted neighbours. The app is designed so that you can stay well informed without having to follow every conversation or development. You decide for yourself which groups to join and when you do or do not receive notifications.
