Oud-Zuid is the fancier part of Amsterdam with the Museum Quarter and the Apollo neighbourhood. This is the place to be if you want to live the real Amsterdam life, but also like some space around you. Here you will find three large parks, stately, wide avenues and beautifully landscaped parks.

The widely known Vondelpark, cosy Sarphatipark and new Park Schinkeleilanden are the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Do your work-out there, hang out with friends in the grass on a nice summer evening or walk around with your dog.

Oud-Zuid stretches from the Olympic Stadium to the Amstel river. On the one hand, you are connected to the A10 ring road and the Zuidas, and on the other, you can easily reach the city centre. Ideal if you want to live in an easily accessible place in Amsterdam.

If you choose the Nieuwe Pijp area, you can take a daily Cuyp and stroll down the increasingly attractive Van Woustraat with its numerous delicatessens and good restaurants. The Museum Quarter and the Apollobuurt have a more stately character and are home to hotspots like the PC Hooftstraat, the Concertgebouw and countless world-famous museums. And do you want good food? Then head towards the Hoofddorpplein area and the Stadion area, which are connected via Amstelveenseweg. Here you will find Restaurant Blauw, Ron Gastrobar and Café Carbòn Zuid, among others. Enjoy!
