Hof van Spartaan East and West are built around a green courtyard above a semi-underground car park with 134 parking spaces. The roof garden consists of a private and a public part, separated by level differences and planters with hedges. In the communal part are meeting areas with picnic sets and large pots of trees.

Sustainable and comfortable
Hof van Spartaan is sustainable and comfortable. The project is gas-free and all-electric with CO2-controlled, balanced ventilation with heat exchanger and LT underfloor heating and hot water via the Amsterdam district heating network. PV panels supply 33% of the building's electricity.
