Justus - Income requirement
To rent a property, it is important that you can pay the rent every month. Therefore, income guidelines have been drawn up:
- Minimum gross monthly income (holiday pay and any fixed end-of-year benefits may be included in this) of 4 times the bare monthly rent;
- Pensioners: minimum gross monthly income of 3 to 3.5 times the monthly rent;
- In case of two incomes, the second income counts for 100%.
All fixed income of a rental candidate is taken into account. This includes salary, holiday pay, thirteenth month, PGB and (pension) benefits. Annually fluctuating amounts are not included. Income from flex, on-call, and temporary work is also not included. The same applies to overtime and irregularity pay.
