All properties in Justus are mid-rent properties. Middle rent is for those who earn too much for social rent, but too little for free sector rent or buy. Affordability is an important factor in mid-rent homes. This is why there are long-term rent agreements between the landlord and the municipality of Amsterdam.
There is a minimum and maximum income standard to qualify. For this flat, the income must not exceed 56,880 gross per year. Guarantee: not possible.

Justus - Location
Living in Justus means enjoying a view over the river IJ and the city of Amsterdam! Where several ships are waiting in front of the Oranjesluizen, which is located on the east side of the IJ. The Oranjesluizen were designed and built by Justus Dirks in the 19th century.
Now, so many years later, the Justus name lives on in this area. Where Justus Dirks stood at the cradle of the Oranjesluizen, the Justus building is the start of a vibrant and bustling new district of Amsterdam. And you can become part of it!
The neighbourhood itself is car-free, but the building offers space for 33 parking spaces and a spacious bicycle shed. There is currently a waiting list. There are no external storage facilities.
Justus - Living
Justus is a striking building in a prime location within Amsterdam. There is a combination of low-rise and high-rise buildings. Below, there is space for fitness and catering.
The building has no less than 32 floors and offers 289 residential units ranging from approx 50 to approx 72 m2 with two or three bedrooms and all have a balcony.
If you like to take a breather, the roof terrace on the 24th floor offers a wonderful solution with views over the city of Amsterdam.
Justus - Income requirement
To rent a property, it is important that you can pay the rent every month. Therefore, income guidelines have been drawn up:
- Minimum gross monthly income (holiday pay and any fixed end-of-year benefits may be included in this) of 4 times the bare monthly rent;
- Pensioners: minimum gross monthly income of 3 to 3.5 times the monthly rent;
- In case of two incomes, the second income counts for 100%.
All fixed income of a rental candidate is taken into account. This includes salary, holiday pay, thirteenth month, PGB and (pension) benefits. Annually fluctuating amounts are not included. Income from flex, on-call, and temporary work is also not included. The same applies to overtime and irregularity pay.
