Imagine living in the centre of Apeldoorn, by the water, in a place with a rich history. Why else is living in Apeldoorn so nice? Besides royal allure, Apeldoorn also offers a very attractive environment with lots of greenery. The city is in the middle of the Veluwe, where you can cycle and stroll endlessly. You will cleave through forests, walk across moors and past little fens. And what you do not immediately think of when you think of the Veluwe: there is also a lot of water. Kite surfers and other water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves at the Randmeren lakes.

The Vlijtsekade

Along the canal, the industrious past is still visible, although ships have been exchanged for trucks, and factories have taken on new functions. Consider the former Zwitsal site where bottles of baby shampoo used to roll off the conveyor belt. This is now a cultural meeting place, where the industrial character of the site meets the creativity of entrepreneurs.
Vlijtsekade is pedestrianised, so you park in the courtyards. In fact, the quay is only for cyclists and walkers. The easiest way to reach the new development by car is from Vlijtseweg. If you drive into town from Amersfoort or Deventer on the N344, you will reach your home in less than 10 minutes.
As a (future) resident of Apeldoorn, you naturally like to visit the lively city centre. If you walk, it will take you about 10 minutes. By bike, you're only half the time. A fine cycle route runs along the Apeldoorn canal, towards the city centre, or just towards 't Sluisje which connects the east and west sides of the canal.

The houses

In De Vlijt, these 9 homes at Dukdalf 21 to 37 in Apeldoorn, with an area of 76m2, were completed in mid-2022.

The homes have two floors with two bedrooms on the first floor. The bathroom has a shower and washbasin. On the ground floor, a spacious living room and a kitchen fully equipped with a recirculation hood, induction hob and dishwasher. As a resident, you are responsible for possibly installing a fridge/freezer and oven or combination microwave. There is underfloor heating on the ground floor.
Each residence has its own back garden with storage shed, which faces north. Parking spaces are located in an area at the rear of the property. It is compulsory to rent a parking space (numbered).

The properties are let in the social sector, which means that rent allowance is possible within the conditions set by the government.
