The Achterste Havervelden / Tweeschaar apartment complex, also known as ‘De Eikenburgh’, is beautifully situated in the Haagse Beemden country estate zone in the Heksenwiel neighbourhood. It is one of the first areas in the Netherlands where an existing green space could be integrated into a major urban expansion on this scale.

Within walking and cycling distance of the flats is the Heksenwiel Shopping Centre, which offers a wide range of shops across many different sectors, including two supermarkets. In addition, the Haagse Beemden neighbourhood boasts various educational institutions, sports facilities and recreational amenities, such as the Haagse Beemden Forest and the Asterdplas recreational lake.
Thanks to its location directly on the A16 motorway, the Haagse Beemden neighbourhood is quick and easy to reach.

A ring road around the neighbourhood also provides direct access to the individual sub-neighbourhoods. The Prinsenbeek – Haagse Beemden railway station is approximately 3 kilometres away (an 8-minute drive or a 12-minute cycle).

Flats
The ‘De Eikenburgh’ apartment complex (built in 1996) comprises 60 flats, spread across three identical blocks, each with four storeys. The buildings have a secure central entrance hall, which also houses the access doors to the separate (bicycle) storage rooms. Naturally, each building is equipped with a lift.
There is a choice of various types of flats, ranging from 80 to 100 m². All flats have a spacious terrace or balcony.

The (semi-)open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen appliances and has an adjoining spacious storage room or utility room. Each flat has a bathroom fitted with a bath, separate shower and a washbasin.

Parking is available on site (unsecured), in front of or next to the residential block.
A communal garden has been laid out around the complex for the residents’ use.
