And are you on your way home again? There's a giant guitar on the roundabout next to the flats. Nice and distinctive and not to be missed! You might even look out onto it from your balcony.
In the neighbourhood
Want to live here with your family? Young people can have a great time in Capelle aan den IJssel. In the centre is the Capsloc youth centre, where you can go for parties, concerts and workshops, especially at weekends. Playing football is practically around the corner, as Capelle football club is only 3 minutes away by bike. And for a secondary school you won't have to travel long either. The IJsselcollege in the city centre is only 10 minutes away by bike and Comenius College 6 minutes.
Fortunately, daily shopping is easy from Wagnerstraat. A Plus supermarket is 5 minutes away by bike and the shopping centre De Koperwiek is 10 minutes away. This really is the centre of Capelle aan den IJssel. You'll find everything here and you'll succeed no matter what! But other amenities, such as a dentist, are also easy to find nearby and sports enthusiasts will certainly feel at home here, as there are plenty of gyms: hit the gym at David Lloyd, just across the street, or at Fitnesscentrum de Rozenburcht. Plenty of choice!
