The flat
The Nieuw Kerkelanden service flat is situated in the Kerkelanden neighbourhood in south-west Hilversum and comprises 65 flats spread over three floors, with a lift. Each flat has a balcony with a sun awning and an en-suite bathroom including a toilet. You and your visitors can also park for free in the surrounding area.

The facilities
The care and support provided by HilverZorg is tailored to your needs. HilverZorg will discuss with you what matters to you, what you are still able to do yourself, and how your support network can assist you. In this way, we provide care together.

By bringing our VPT services together under one roof, we can provide a 24/7 emergency response service for our residents. This does not include scheduled night-time care. Another advantage of clustered VPT is that we can offer people and their loved ones the reassurance that they are living in a safe environment with care within easy reach. It is, and will remain, your own space that you can make your home. A place where you can meet people and where you have the freedom to continue living your own life.

The care provided by HilverZorg consists of:
- Medical care (nursing, ADL)
- Housekeeping, 45 minutes per week
- Meal provision
- 24/7 emergency call system
- Personalised support (by arrangement)

At Nieuw Kerkelanden, you can also make use of various facilities on offer – at your own expense where necessary – or arrange for these to be provided on request. For example, there is a brasserie and a garden where various activities are regularly organised. There is also the option to use a laundry service and to arrange for a physiotherapist, dentist, hairdresser or chiropodist to visit you.

Registration
To be eligible for a flat in the service flat complex, you must have a WLZ-VPT assessment of 4, 5 or 6. Without this assessment, or if your own safety or that of others is at risk, it is not possible to live in the service flat complex.
