Surroundings
Leeuwarden is the capital of the province of Friesland. It is one of the three largest cities in the northern Netherlands. Leeuwarden is one of the oldest cities in the north of the Netherlands and has a rich cultural history. Partly because of this, Leeuwarden is the cultural capital of Europe!
