A delightful place to live in a beautiful three-room flat in Camminghaburen (Leeuwarden)
The Camminghaburen neighbourhood, in the north-east of the Frisian capital Leeuwarden, is known as an extremely pleasant place to live. This is thanks to its amenities, spacious layout and abundance of water and green spaces. In the centre of the neighbourhood, on Smeetsmastins, you’ll find two residential complexes comprising a total of 48 spacious flats. These buildings are surrounded by wide strips of greenery and water, typical of Camminghaburen.

The nearest shopping area is on Lieuwenburg, about six hundred metres away. There, you can do your shopping at various supermarkets and shops. There are also several primary schools within easy walking or cycling distance, and you can walk to the nearest bus stops in just a few minutes, where you’ll benefit from good bus connections to other parts of the city. What’s more, you’ll be living just a ten-minute walk from Leeuwarden Camminghaburen railway station. Finally, Smeetsmastins is easily accessible by car; after all, you’re just a three-minute drive from the slip road to the N355. The A31 and A32 motorways can be reached in about ten minutes.

Both complexes were built in 1996 and are well maintained. The insulation is of a high standard, as evidenced by the energy label (B) awarded to the buildings. The buildings feature a communal entrance hall, which provides access to the stairwell and the lifts, via which the six upper floors can be reached. The storage rooms are also located on the ground floor. Each flat comes with its own separate storage room. It is also worth noting that the flats are handed over unfurnished, although the kitchen and bathroom are fully fitted

Most flats have a floor area of around 74 square metres. They feature a central entrance hall leading to two spacious bedrooms, a toilet, two storage rooms and a neat bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and washbasin. The hall also leads to the living room, which opens onto a terrace or balcony, offering between twelve and twenty square metres of outdoor space. Depending on the apartment type, you’ll also benefit from a contemporary kitchen in a wall-mounted or corner layout. Modern built-in appliances are provided, including an oven, gas hob, fridge and freezer.

The flats on the ground floor and the top floor are slightly larger, measuring 83 and 98 square metres respectively. The four penthouses in these residential complexes are the largest. The extra living space is mainly reflected in an exceptionally spacious living room and a large roof terrace measuring no less than 69 square metres.
