The Plantation
Water gives space, freedom and refreshment. And that is precisely what makes living in De Plantage so enjoyable. Meteren

A few minutes' walk away, you'll find the bus station of the neighbouring village of Meteren. From here, catch the bus that takes you to the centre of Geldermalsen or the train station. The village itself is also easy to reach by bike.
Geldermalsen has a lot to offer, especially for young families. Primary schools, a comprehensive school, culture, shops, sports facilities and healthcare are plentiful in the village.
Housing
In January 2023, the 20 rental homes within this project were completed on the Citadel and Bastion. The corner and intermediate houses differ in location and surface area (108-116 m2).
There is underfloor heating on the ground floor and first floor.
The ground floor has a spacious living room and is equipped with a beautiful white corner kitchen with a composite worktop and complete appliances. That means a 4-zone induction hob, fridge-freezer and multifunction oven with microwave function, extractor fan and dishwasher. And a stainless steel rear wall behind the hob and a smet skirting.
The bathroom is fully tiled with white tiles on the walls and anthracite grey floor tiles. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, single sink, second toilet and an electric bathroom radiator. There are also three bedrooms on the first floor.
The houses are equipped with a sustainable climate control system (BENG). The system consists of an air/water heat pump. This system feeds the underfloor heating in your home. It also heats the water in the storage tank. This hot water is used for showering, among other things. This means the homes are not connected to the gas grid.
The homes are also equipped with a heat recovery system (WTW).
From new construction, the gardens are equipped with a fence, a paved terrace and path, and their own external storage space.
