The apartment block at De Braak 52–118 in Oosterhout, better known as ‘Iepenburg’, is situated in the town centre and overlooks the town park. The building comprises 34 flats in three different layouts, spread over five floors. It has two entrances, each equipped with a lift. The flats are situated around the stairwells. All access points to the flats are internal, ensuring a high level of security.

There are three types of flat: types A, B and C. Types A and B have two bedrooms, with the layout differing between the two types. Type C has one bedroom and a study or hobby room adjoining the living room. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom contains a bath and a washbasin, as well as a separate shower.

The flats have either a terrace or a loggia. The storage rooms are located on the ground floor.

The flats are particularly suitable for single-person or two-person households.

Oosterhout is a medium-sized municipality in North Brabant. The town is surrounded by greenery, ranging from extensive forests, heathland and sand drifts to fertile polders. Oosterhout has a wide range of amenities, including primary schools, secondary schools, sports facilities and cultural venues. The lively town centre offers a wide selection of shops as well as a variety of catering establishments (restaurants, cafés and daytime eateries).

You may be familiar with Oosterhout because of its ‘slotjes’ – small castles, of which five still remain today. One of these ‘slotjes’, De Blauwe Camer, has been home to the Norbertine Sisters of Sint-Catharinadal since 1647, after the sisters were forced to leave their convent in Breda.
De Blauwe Camer forms part of the so-called Holy Triangle, which consists of a contiguous area centred on three adjoining convent complexes: Sint-Catharinadal, the Abbey of Our Lady and the Abbey of St Paul.
