From 1 December 2026, MVGM Woningmanagement will have a spacious property available to let in the Het Zand neighbourhood (Leidsche Rijn).

Surroundings
This was once the site of the old Vleuten flower auction. Now it is one of the most attractive new-build neighbourhoods in the Het Zand sub-plan: De Veiling. The neighbourhood is situated on the eastern side of Leidsche Rijn, close to the station and surrounded by greenery. The Leidsche Rijn Centre, currently under construction, with all its shops and other amenities, is also within walking distance. The neighbourhood itself promises a wonderful place to live. The layout is child-friendly: your children will soon be able to run about and play outside to their heart’s content. Schools and nurseries are nearby, and the football club, hockey club and tennis club are waiting for them to join! The spacious layout of Het Zand gives De Veiling a character all of its own. This is further enhanced by its location, close to the Rijnkennemerlaan. This is the unique avenue that stretches for many kilometres, reserved exclusively for cyclists and walkers. The dead-straight road is lined with Italian poplars, with the horizon revealing itself in all its beauty in the distance.

The complex
Architecturally, De Veiling evokes a bygone era. Dudok, undisputedly one of the greatest architects of the past, is the source of inspiration for the homes being built here. This gives the residential area a character all of its own. Most characteristic are the clean, horizontal lines of the façades and the sandy-yellow brickwork. But the detailing that makes the homes so distinctive is also inspired by Dudok. A key feature is the large windows, which lend the homes a very contemporary feel. This makes the interiors light and allows you to take in plenty of the surroundings.
The homes themselves are more spacious than average and beautifully finished, with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. In terms of layout, you can choose between terraced or corner homes.

Layout
The living area is mainly oriented towards the garden, and the deep kitchen-diner is fully fitted. Upstairs, there are three lovely bedrooms and a bathroom. The loft has been left open-plan and is suitable for a variety of purposes. All homes have a storage shed in the garden.
