Nijenoord is situated just outside the bustling centre of Utrecht. The building was formerly Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, but has now been transformed into a fantastic residential block. The school-like atmosphere has disappeared, the large windows have been retained and spacious balconies have been added. Here, you can rent a luxuriously finished flat and easily park your car right outside the door. We have various parking spaces available, both indoors and outdoors. Nijenoord is just a stone’s throw from the River Vecht, opposite Noordse Park, and the bus stops practically on your doorstep. If you look at the location from above, you’ll see that by car you can reach the A2 just as quickly as the A27. Ideal if you have to travel a lot for work. The great thing is that you can also cycle to Utrecht city centre and the station in just 5 minutes.

Nijenoord has a prominent entrance which you reach via a few steps. This is a clear sign that it was once a school. In the hall, there’s a lift to take you to your floor. Handy, as the building is a full 10 storeys high. It’s lovely, by the way, living high up – you’ve got unobstructed views of Utrecht.

The flats vary in layout and size. There are flats ranging from 46 to as much as 152 m². You’ll always have a lovely balcony and can count on a fully fitted kitchen and a modern bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with Siemens appliances. Flat number 239 is a ground-floor flat with an outdoor terrace at the front of the complex.

In Nijenoord, +Jack is on hand to keep the building clean, in good condition and safe. +Jack is available for 8 hours a week to carry out building rounds, perform maintenance work in and around your flat, identify building faults and (where possible) rectify them.

+Jack is on site on Tuesdays from 08:00 – 16:00.
