This sustainable combination ensures a pleasant living environment.

Alongside the high-rise buildings typical of a city, Overvecht is green. In fact, it is the greenest neighbourhood in Utrecht. It has the highest number of trees per resident. Head to the park for a picnic, or use the green spaces for exercise. Take your children to one of the various playgrounds or visit the urban farm, for example. Whatever your idea of relaxation, you’ll have no trouble finding it here.

As if the neighbourhood didn’t have enough to offer already, you’ll also find the Overvecht shopping centre here. Residents from other parts of Utrecht make a special trip to Overvecht just for this. If you live in De Mix, it’s just a short walk away. You can head to the Overvecht shopping centre to shop, do your weekly shop, buy a present or pick up DIY supplies for your move. But that’s not all – the cosy shopping centre, with over a hundred shops, hasn’t forgotten about the restaurants and cafés either.
