A total of 92 flats have been built in the ‘Holy Noord’ neighbourhood, forming part of the “De Loper” shopping centre. The flats are situated above the shops and are spread over three floors, comprising seven main types. Vlaardingen has developed into a modern town with a population of around 75,000. The shopping centre is one of the town’s better ones and meets all requirements. There is also no shortage of leisure and recreational facilities. A golf course, swimming pool, tennis club, theatre and similar amenities – as well as the ‘Broekpolder’ nature reserve – are all within cycling distance.

Access to the flats is via porches, each of which has its own lift and stairwell. The ground-floor entrance hall houses the post boxes as well as the telephone panel with an internal telephone system for communication between residents and visitors.

The complex is characterised by its horseshoe shape. As a result, some of the flats face the central market square in the town centre, where the weekly market is also held. Another part of the complex overlooks the neighbourhood’s ‘green zone’.

Layout: All flats feature a spacious living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath or shower (depending on the type), a spacious loggia, and a waste storage area in each entrance hall.
