Comfortable living in a spacious flat in a green, water-rich residential area
This modern complex forms part of the Rokkeveen neighbourhood, in the south of Zoetermeer. From this quietly situated residential building, you can stroll straight into the beautiful Burgemeester Hoekstrapark. What’s more, at the rear of the flats – where the balconies, terraces and conservatories are located – you have an unobstructed view of this water-rich park. A special feature is that you also look out over the De Tien Gemeenten Water Tower, a water tower dating from 1927 that is still in use.

It’s also ideal that, from Juweellaan, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Rokkeveen Shopping Centre, an indoor shopping centre with supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, and numerous shops. The nearest bus stop is even closer, whilst Zoetermeer’s central railway station is about 850 metres away. Juweellaan is also easily accessible by car. After all, it takes less than five minutes’ drive to reach the main roads around the town, such as the N470 and the A12 motorway.

If we take a closer look at the residential complex itself, we see that it is a large apartment block with over a hundred flats. However, the six-storey building has numerous entrances, giving residents the feeling of living in a smaller-scale complex. The building was completed in 1992 and features both stairwells and lifts. On the ground floor of the building, there are numerous garages, hobby rooms and storage rooms available for rent separately.

The flats themselves vary in size and number of rooms, and may therefore differ slightly in layout. Generally, however, you first enter a central entrance hall, which provides access to the bedrooms (two, three or four), a storage room, a toilet and a fully fitted bathroom. From this hall, you also reach a spacious living room with a modern, (semi-)open-plan kitchen. The living room also opens onto a conservatory, balcony and/or terrace, from which you have an unobstructed view of Burgemeester Hoekstrapark.

Finally, it’s worth noting that the bathroom is already fully finished and the kitchen features wall tiling and modern built-in appliances such as an oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. Otherwise, you are free to furnish and decorate the flat in general, and the floors (in the living room, kitchen, hall and bedrooms) in particular, to your own taste.
