- The gross annual income must be 45x the bare monthly rent, for a rent higher than €1,600. Converted, this calculation applies when your gross annual income is €72,000 or higher.

* In case of 2 incomes
- In the case of two incomes, the gross annual incomes of both partners are added together to determine the joint calculation income. The test is then based on the relationship between the two partners' incomes within this joint calculation income.
- You may count both incomes at 100%, provided one of you earns at least 70% of your total joint computed income. The ratio is then 70/30 or higher (e.g. 80/20).
