The quiet and leafy neighbourhood of Nieuw Sloten is situated in Slotervaart. It is a residential area built in the 1990s, featuring a variety of architectural styles. At the heart of the neighbourhood lies the Belgiëplein shopping centre. It’s a lively spot with supermarkets and all sorts of smaller shops, such as a bakery, a butcher’s, a off-licence, a hairdresser’s and a chemist’s. The neighbourhood is surrounded by numerous beautiful areas: the Nieuwe Meer, the Sloterplas, De Oeverlanden and, of course, Kasterleepark, right across the road. The proximity to Amsterdam, major transport links and the Slotervaart Hospital are key strengths of this residential area. Nieuw Sloten is also easily accessible by public transport. Tram 2 connects the neighbourhood to Amsterdam Central Station. Bus 195 runs directly to Schiphol.

- Tenancy period -
A tenancy agreement is entered into for a minimum of one year and is thereafter renewed for an indefinite period. After the minimum term of 12 calendar months, a notice period of 1 calendar month applies.
