The 'Hendric' building consists of 124 rental and owner-occupied flats, commercially lettable spaces in the plinth (ground floor), a collective bicycle shed, a communal living room and a parking basement (which also meets the parking needs of the adjacent building, the Baronesse). The building has a number of sloping façade lines, giving it a striking appearance and also emphasising the relationship between Faamplein and the railway landscape. Part of the fencing features a motif of beer bottles, referring to the history of the place. Once, thousands of crates were stored here from the former beer brewery De Drie Hoefijzers.
