Lovely living in Oud-Beijerland
Oud-Beijerland has a beautiful old heart where the rich history can be seen in the buildings, the harbour and the canals. From Poortwijk, you can cycle to the village in about 6 minutes. Here you will find everything you need on a daily basis. The range of amenities in Oud-Beijerland is very good. Not for nothing do residents from the surrounding municipalities come here to do their shopping. Another fine aspect of Oud-Beijerland is its water-rich environment. Lovely for walking, cycling and sports. The nature island of Tiengemeten in the Haringvliet is the biggest crowd-puller of the Hoeksche Waard.

Poortwijk is located to the east of Oud-Beijerland's city centre. The nice thing is that, on the one hand, you can be in the village in no time, but also drive onto the N217 within a few minutes. This provincial road connects to the A29. Rotterdam is less than half an hour away.

Dwellings
The semi-detached houses have light-coloured brickwork and large windows. The pent roof slopes back at the front, providing plenty of living space on the second floor as well. The mid-terrace houses average 118 m2 and several corner houses have a living area of 151 m2 due to the side extension.
