The CAN M1 building is located by the water and against the green canal with its double row of trees. The design of CAN M1 exudes a slightly traditional atmosphere. This can be seen in the choice of brick with white colour accents. The building has a central core with porch access. This sets it apart from the many gallery flats in Amsterdam North.
